Description
Here you can find accessories for MARKUS.
MARKUS 10 is an instrument that is used to measure radon in soil. It is a portable, battery-operated device that can measure high radon concentrations. This is done by inserting a probe (a skewer-like pipe) into the ground before soil air is pumped through the probe to a chamber that detects the presence of radon’s decay products, with the measurement results being shown on the display. The measurement period for measuring ground radon is 12 minutes. There is a water seal at the top of the probe to prevent water being pumped into the chamber.
The price includes an aluminium case, battery charger, probe with driving head and tip, probe handle, spanner for connection, water guard and calibration certificate. A slide hammer is available as an optional extra, which avoids you having to use a mallet to insert the probe 70 cm into the ground.
