Information on cookies

Radonova’s website uses cookies. In accordance with the Swedish Electronic Communications Act, everyone visiting a website that uses cookies must be given access to information that the website contains cookies and the purpose for which these are used. The user must also have the ability to decide whether or not to allow cookies to be stored on their device, which can be done through settings in the user’s preferred browser.

Which cookies are used?

Radonova’s website uses two different types of cookies:

Permanent cookies

These consist of a text file stored on your device

Temporary cookies

These are cookies that are only stored temporarily and that disappear when you close your browser.

Why do we use cookies?

We mainly use cookies that send us information about users for three different purposes:

  1. For web analysis. For example, to obtain information about how visitors interact with the website.
  2. For advertising. With the aid of cookies, we can adapt advertising to suit surfing behaviour.
  3. To improve the customer experience. For example, to create personal offers, to remember the contents of a customer’s basket, and to enable a range of services and functions.

Cookies of the type described above are called first-party cookies. This means that the cookie has the same domain name sender as the website, i.e. that Radonova is the sender.

Google Analytics

Radonova uses this tracking tool for analysis of visitors to our website. We have an agreement with Google which guarantees that users remain anonymous and that no identifiable information is sent or shared. We save what we collect in Google Analytics for 26 months. Read more about how Google Analytics uses cookies.

Hotjar

Hotjar analyses how users navigate pages on the site using the mouse cursor. Visitors’ mouse movements are recorded in order to analyse how visitors interact with the website. Users’ data is anonymised and there is no unique identifier for visitors. Read more about how Hotjar uses cookies.

Zopim (Zendesk)

Radonova uses Zendesk to be able to provide our visitors with a live chat function on our website. Zendesk needs two cookies to function: one to save a live chat ID, and one to save settings on disabling the live chat function. Read more about how Zendesk uses cookies. In addition to these cookies, we also use third-party cookies, which means that our partners place their cookies on our website.

Third-party cookies

Radonova cooperates with operators that place their third-party cookies on our website. Information collected by these cookies can be shared with Radonova but may also be used for other purposes. This is controlled by each operator that is responsible for and delivers the cookie.

The following operators use cookies to direct advertising and collect statistics that provide supporting data for payment for advertising. Radonova manages these collaborations, which are regulated by an agreement with each party.
